Google Authenticator is a two-factor authentication app that provides an extra layer of security for your online accounts. If you use Google Authenticator, it’s important to back up your account data in case you ever lose your phone or need to restore your account.
To back up your Google Authenticator data, open the app and tap the Menu button. Tap “Backup codes” and enter your backup code. Tap the “Back up” button to save your data.

Open Lastpass and login to enable Authenticator backup.
Once you have logged in, click on the ‘Settings’ tab, and then select the ‘Multifactor’ option.
Under the ‘Multifactor’ section, click on the ‘Authenticator’ tab.
Check the ‘Enable Authenticator backup’ box, and then click on the ‘Save Changes’ button.
You will then be asked to provide your Lastpass master password.
Once you have entered your master password, click on the ‘OK’ button.
Lastpass will now backup your Authenticator data.
