Google Backup and Sync, a desktop app for backing up files and photos and syncing them between devices, has been discontinued.
Google announced the news in a blog post on September 24, 2018. The app will be discontinued on December 11, 2018.
Google recommends that users switch to using Google Drive on the web, or the Google Photos app on their phones.
