There are a few ways you can view backup files on your Mac.
If you have a Time Machine backup, you can open the Time Machine app and view the contents of your backup.
You can also open Finder and view your backup files in the Finder sidebar. If you don’t see the sidebar, go to Finder Preferences and select the Sidebar tab. Under Locations, select your backup drive and click the + button.
