The Philadelphia 76ers have been searching for a capable backup center since they traded Spencer Hawes to the Cleveland Cavaliers in February. They may have finally found their man in veteran Kosta Koufos.
Koufos, a 7-foot-1, 265-pounder, was traded to the Sixers from the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday in exchange for a future second-round pick. He provides some much-needed depth behind starter Joel Embiid.
