Backing up your call log is important, in case you ever need to restore it for some reason. Here’s how to do it:
1. Open the Settings app and go to Backup & reset.
2. Tap Backup call log.
3. Choose how often you want your call log backed up and whether you want it backed up to your Google account or to your device’s internal storage.
4. Tap Back up now to back up your call log.
